Where do I pick up the games?

We have pickup locations in Portage and in Kalamazoo. When you game is ready for pickup we will send you instructions along with an address. 

How often can I switch out games? 

There’s no limit to how often you can exchange games.  Scroll down to the bottom of this page to submit an order and switch out your current game for another. 

How long can you hold on to the games? 

There’s no limit to how long you can keep a game. If you're enjoying it, keep it longer!

What if I want to upgrade, downgrade or cancel my subscription?

How long do I have to wait to pick up my game? 

We're shooting for under 24 hours, though in some situations games can be ready in as little as an hour. 

Will you ship games?

Currently we aren't shipping games, but hopefully someday we can do that!

Is there a deposit? What if something goes wrong?

We want borrowing games to be easy and accessible. Most game libraries have you put down a deposit equal to the full cost of the game in case something gets destroyed, lost, or never returned, and only return a portion of it back to you even if you return it in perfect condition. At our library, instead of deposits, there is a $10 fee for replaceable components, and we charge the full price for a ruined game. 

I have questions about the board games. Where can I get answers and recommendations?

Text our help line! (269) 569-4174. We can recommend good games based on games you’ve enjoyed in the past. Also, boardgamegeek.com is a database with just about every game that’s ever been created. It has information like play length, player count, difficulty, and a detailed description for all the games.

What if you don’t have a game I’m looking for?

One of the main reasons we’re doing this service is to increase the amount of games we have to offer in our library. If you have a specific game in mind, let us know, and we’ll see about adding it to our collection. 

What about expansions? How do I request them?

Many expansions to games are available on request. If you have questions about expansions, just ask.  

Will you teach us how to play the games?

Teaching games is one of our favorite things to do, but in most cases we won’t be available to teach you the game. But there are fantastic tutorials available online. Just search “Pandemic Tutorial” Or “Smash Up How To Play” to find a video of someone teaching it. Our favorite game teacher is a Canadian named Rodney who has a youtube channel called “Watch It Played.”

Is there anything you’d like people to know when they borrow your games?

Everyone has a different standard for caring for board games. If you could, please avoid eating while playing, and triple check that all the cards and pieces got put in the box. We’d like to be able to lend (and play) these games for a long time.
